Simone Murray, Executive Director
Simone Murray is the Executive Director of DirectEmployers Institute, Inc. With 12 years of HR recruitment, sales and client services experience, Simone is well equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to bring learning to life by uniting public and private employers, schools and non-profit organizations that have a passion for creating a diversified workforce for disadvantaged students.
Prior to her work with the Institute, Simone was the VP of Member Services at DirectEmployers Association where she was responsible for developing strategic goals and initiatives that enabled the Association to achieve continued organizational success and sustainability. Through increased member engagement, educational initiatives and increased networking opportunities, Simone worked to enhance the value of products and services to meet the demands of Member companies’ recruitment and compliance needs. As the first Executive Director of DirectEmployers Institute, Simone will act as a champion for fostering change, individual growth and opportunities in others–especially our youth. Simone holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business with a minor in Dance from Penn State University. She is also a member of the Delta Sigma Pi Business Fraternity and a member of Skulls and Bones Secret Society.
Kasey Cross, Intern
Kasey Cross is an intern at DirectEmployers Institute in Indianapolis as well as a twelfth grade student at Tri-West Hendricks High School in Lizton, Indiana. She is a dedicated student, ranked in the top ten percent of her class, and is also an eloquent speaker, articulate writer, and creative thinker.
